Popovits & Robinson has devoted considerable resources to developing HIPAA implementation tools. We have tailored these tools for several of our clients, in a variety of different settings for a variety of services. For example, we have created a set of binders for use by behavioral health care providers, which incorporates 42 C.F.R. Part 2 and Illinois mental health laws. We have done comprehensive preemption analyses for Illinois and Pennsylvania, with other states in process. We have conducted seminars on HIPAA and have served as consultants to various governmental agencies.
